Agnes Y. "Yvonne" Hawks

Agnes Y. "Yvonne" Hawks, 68, of Smolan, passed away Wednesday, January 18th.

She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on February 5, 1943, a daughter of the late Eva (Thompson) Stoddard and Ralph  Sanders.

Yvonne attended New Community Christian Church in Salina and was a member of the Eagles Auxilliary in Salina.

On December 8, 1962, she married Tom Hawks in Yuma, Arizona.

Yvonne is  survived by four sons Tom (Eva) Hawks II, of Smolan, Kansas; Tim (Teresa) Hawks, of Shelton, Nebraska; Tony (Ann) Hawks, of Osborne, Kansas; Terry (Tina) Hawks, of Warrensburg, Missouri; three sisters: Jeannie (Larry) Rosenlieb  of Assaria, Kansas, Fran Sanders of El Cajon, California, Patricia Senart of Ellsworth, Kansas; three half brothers: Curtis Sanders, Danny Sanders, Glen Sanders; half sister Kandy Strength; grandchildren; Anthony, Brandon, Amanda, Jordan, Aaron, Tiffany, Tanner, Cody, Alison, Taryn, Chandler, Andrew, Ashlee, Brandon, Zachary, and Eric; great-grandchildren, Aundrea, Cadence, Kinsley, Taelynn, and Braylon; as well as several nieces, nephews, friends, and her faithful companion, Hope.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom; and grandson, Tyler Hawks.

A memorial service will be held at at New Community Christian Church, Salina, Kansas, at 12:00 p.m on Saturday, January 21st,  with Dave Henry, Minister officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Salina 730 Holly Lane, Box 2238 Salina, Kansas or Sunflower Adult Day Service, 401 W. Iron St., Salina, Kansas.
