Dean E. Launchbaugh, 81, of Salina passed away Monday,
December 19th, at his home.
Dean was born in Mankato, KS on October 3, 1930 to the late Ruby
(Cripe) and Merle Launchbaugh.
Dean was a high school graduate and he worked as a federal meat
inspector. He was also a member of the VFW and American
Legion. Dean married P. Carol Hunt on May 29, 1955, in
Chester, NE. She precedes him in death.
Dean is survived by his daughter, Cyndy Launchbaugh of Fairway, KS;
sons, Brad (Katy) Launchbaugh of LaCrosse, KS and Jim (Jo)
Launchbaugh of Boise, ID; brother, Donald (Delores) Launchbaugh; as
well as granddaughters, Kelly Launchbaugh of Derby, KS, Melissa
Launchbaug of St. Louis, MO, Sarah Launchbaugh of Emporia, KS, and
Amy Launchbaugh, of LaCrosse, KS.
In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by his
parents.
A Memorial Graveside service will be held at a later date.
