I was saddened to read of Don's passing. I have very fond memories of working with Don at KSAL. We were both Ham radio operators and had much in common. He even shared with me his secret to the proper firing of a potato gun. He will be missed.

Roger, Juanita & family...we are so sorry to hear about your Dad. What a great man in so many ways! Definitely the best radio engineer in the world! I will always have smiling memories from working with him. The time he took to help our KSAL Christmas tree blink to our music...:) I could go on and on... You were very blessed, Juanita, to have such a wonderful father. Our prayers and blessings are with you. Love, Ron and Janet

Juanita, Roger and Family, We are so sorry to hear that Don has passed away. Don was an amazing person and he had the greatest stories. I could sit and listen to him for hours. Don was young at heart and he always had a good joke, a funny story, or a twinkle in his eye when he would talk about some of the pranks he pulled in his youth or when you would see him blasting things with a potato gun. He had a great love of the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his family, and spending time on his land. Don loved his family and talked about his kids and grandchildren all the time. It was an honor to know him and we will miss him dearly. Please accept our prayers and blessings for you and your family. We love you, Don and Kristi
