Dorothy Dawine Moore

     Dorothy Dawine Moore, 80, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, October 25th, at Salina Regional Health Center.

     Dorothy was born in Ellsworth, Kansas on November 26, 1930, a daughter of the late Ruth Viola (Keesee) Jordan and Burton Alexander Dickenson.

     She was a full-time Grandma, an upholsterer at Beechcraft for 26 years and a member of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church, Salina.

     In 1952, she married Carl Franklin Moore who preceded her in death in 1983.

     Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Carla Moore, of Salina, Kansas; four sons, Michael  Moore (Susann) of Arlington, Texas; Lowell Moore (Kayla Thompson-Moore) of Salina, Kansas; Marvin Moore (April) of Brandon, Florida; Reginald Moore, of Denver, Colorado; 8 Grandchildren, Anthony and Tene' Moore, Andrew and Natasha Moore, Andrea Moore, Nicole Morgan, Ebony Moore, Micah Moore, Johnthan Moore, and Rueben and Katie Moore; 5 Great grandchildren, Alexa Moore, Ethan Moore, Gabriel Moore, Rachel Moore, Dylan Lindsay; three sisters, Barbara Knight, Bobbie Belt, Patricia McCabe; honorary sons, Carlton Outland, Kirk Holt.

     She is preceded in death by a sister, Rhea Bess-Littrell and a brother, Arthur (Buddy) Jordan.

     Funeral Services will be at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church, Salina, Kansas, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 29th.

     Visitation will take place Friday, October 28, from 9 am - 8 pm at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home, with family present from    
6 pm - 8 pm.

     Burial will be held at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

    Memorials may be made to Tammy Walker Cancer Center, 511 S. Santa Fe, Salina, Kansas.
