Joyce Ann Teasley
Joyce Ann Teasley, 73, of Abilene, passed away Sunday, April
15th, at Village Manor in Abilene.
Joyce was born in Salina, Kansas on March 30, 1939, daughter of
the late Lora G. (Crook) and Virgil "Doc" Jackson.
She worked as an Inventory Control Clerk at Alco in
Abilene and retired after 22 years.
Joyce was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church, TOPS in Abilene
and was a regular at the Abilene Senior Center.
On June 6, 1959, Joyce married Joseph Paul Teasley in Glasco at
the Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Loraine Ann McMillian, of
Industry, Kansas, Veronica Lynn Teasley, of Abilene, Kansas, two
sons, Dustin Paul Teasley, of Pratt, Kansas; Dennis E. Teasley, of
Abilene, Kansas; brother, Dennis Jackson of Salina, Kansas, 5
Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Joe.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic
Church, Glasco, Kansas, on Thursday, April 19th. Burial will
following at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Glasco,
Kansas.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 18 from 9 am to 8
pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina. .Family will greet
friends following a rosary at 5:30 p.m.
