Kathleen Marie Hight, 59, of Salina passed away Thursday, April 7th, 2011.
She was born in Brawley, CA on June 15, 1951, the daughter of the late William and Viola E. (Coates) Zornes.
Kathleen graduated from Central Union High School in El Centro, CA and earned a Bachelor's Degree Suma Cum Laude from Kansas Wesleyan University.
She was a member of Emmanuel Four Square Church in Salina.
Kathleen is survived by her daughters; Katrina Riddick of Chesapeake, VA, Susan Dame of Pikesville, North Carolina, Rachel Felix, Rebecca Schmidt, and Lizzy Hight, all of Salina; son, Kenny Hight of Herington; brother, Wesley Zornes of Salina; ex-husband Kenneth Hight of McPherson; as well as, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Virginia Zornes.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
A funeral service will be held at the at Emmanuel Four Square Church at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 11th, with Pastor Loren Houltberg officiting. Interment will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8 p.m.. at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.
The family requests donations be made in Kathleen's name to the Emmanuel Four Square Church, 1325 E. Cloud St., Salina, KS 67401.
