Kenneth Charles "Kenny" Kronmiller, 81, of Salina passed away, surrounded by family Thursday, October 13th, at the Kaye Pogue Hospice Center in Salina. 

Kenneth was born in Roxbury, MA on September 11, 1930,  the son of the late Norma (Collins) and Karl  Kronmiller.

Kenny enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.  He was stationed at the Smoky Hill Air Force Base.  In 1953, Kenny married Phyllis Cline, and they resided in Salina.  Kenny retired from the City of Salina Water Department in 1992 after 35 years of service. 

Kenneth is  survived by his wife Phyllis of the home; daughter, Nancy (Don) Fiske, of Truckee, CA; sons, Mike (Tammy) Kronmiller, of Arkansas City, KS; Kurt Kronmiller, of Salina; Kevin (Shawna) Kronmiller, of Salina, and Mark S. Kronmiller, of Salina; sister, Grace (Andy) Donovan, of South Boston, MA; brother, Paul (Thelma) Kronmiller, of West Roxbury, MA; as well as 13 grandchildren,  11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Jerry, Al, and Don Kronmiller.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral with Fr. Allen Scheer officiating.  Visistation will be from 3pm-7pm Sunday, at Carlson Geisendorf Funeral Home.  Family will greet friends from 5-7.
