Patricia Mae Arnold

Patricia Mae Arnold, 71, of Salina, passed away Thursday, November 17th, at Kay Pogue Hospice Center.

Patricia was born in Salina, Kansas on April 17, 1940, daughter of the late Lela  Mae (Shirk) and Cecil  Pedersen.

In 1958, she graduated from Salina Central High.  She worked as a Secretary for the City of Salina - Street Department for 33 yrs, Betty's Fried Chicken in the 80's, R&J Tax Service, and Wyatts Cafe.

Patricia was a member of Heartland Worship Center in Salina.

On May 24, 1959, she married Bill Arnold  at First Assembly of God Church, Salina.

Survivors include husband, Bill Arnold; daughter, Brenda Jackman; son, Dennis Arnold and wife Sheri Arnold; brother, Jerry Pedersen; three grandchildren, Noah Jackman, Kaycie Arnold, and Kylie Arnold; all of Salina, Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Cecil and Lela Pedersen; sister: Janice E. Doughman, son-in-law: Marshall R. Jackman.

Friends are invited to call Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 1 pm - 8 pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home with the family present from 6 pm - 8 pm.  Friends are also invited to call Monday, November 21, 2011 from 8 am - 5 pm and Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 8 am - 12 pm at the funeral home. 

Funeral Services will be  at Heartland Worship Center, Salina, KS, at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22nd,  with Pastor Gary Carlson officiating. Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery Salina, Kansas

Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Worship Center 118 S. 8th Salina, Kansas.

    Bill,Jerry Wayne and all, Our sincere condolences on the passing of your wife, sister, mother, etc...Patty Mae will be missed by so many. I've always felt like a sister to she, Jerry Wayne & Janny ....we spent many days-nights-weeks-months & years together growing up on Kansas Street. So many fun memories. Patty Mae was the one that always kept us from getting into too much mischief! A very wonderful woman has left a big imprint on all of our hearts!
