     Mr. Robert E. Unselt, 48, of Salina, passed away Sunday, January 9th, at Salina Regional Health Center.     

     Mr. Unselt was born in Rapid City , South Dakota on May 5, 1962, the son of  Albert R. Unselt and Enid B. (Hill) Mitchnick.  He was a high school graduate and worked as an over the road truckdriver.  He married Rebecca Bolin on January 15, 2002 in Salina.

      Robert is survived by his parents; wife Rebecca; sons,  Samuel R. Unselt of Salina, and  Nicholas E. Unselt of the home; sister, Sharon Rathbun of Salina; brothers, Russell Unselt of Salina, Steven (Mari-Carmen) Unselt of Topeka, Kansas., and Allen Unselt of Hillsboro, Kansas.  He is also survived by his first wife, Betty Unselt of Salina; and many nieces and nephews. 

      Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at the First Baptist Church, 843 Lewis Ave., Salina. 
    
     Memorial contributions may be made to the family to defray expenses and provide for his youngest sons education, and may be sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas 67401.
