Robert Henry Reed, 62, of Salina, died Wednesday, October 27th, 2010. Bob was born in Great Bend, on June 19, 1948, the son of the late John B. and Sarah E. (Sheppard) Reed. He graduated from Chapman High School in 1966.

Survivors include his sisters: Joanna Kooser and husband Stanton of Abilene, Lynda D. Carter and husband Blaine of Lake Wabaunsee; brothers: Daniel B. Reed and wife Kathy of Salina, Kurt E. Reed of Glen Elder and many nieces and nephews.

Private memorials services will be private and at the convenience of family. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, 66604

We are so sorry to hear about Bob. Even though we had not seen him in the past few years, he was always a good friend. Doug and Bob spent a lot of time together in our younger days. I can remember him coming over to the house for lots of games of Asteroids on the nintendo and darts. They went fishing and hunting a lot together also. It's too bad we lost touch-I think the last time I saw him was in at Sears which was several years ago.
