Tena M. "Tiny" (Everhart) Bickel
Tena M. "Tiny" (Everhart) Bickel, 98, died September 26, 2011.
She was born August 9th, 1913 in Durham, Kansas, the daughter of
the late Joseph and Maud (Stiefel) Everhart. She was married
on November 10th 1936 to Milton L. Bickel, they were married over
50 years prior to his passing in 1992.
Mrs. Bickel is survived by her son, Linn E. Bickel, his wife,
Beverly A. Bickel of Salina and granddaughters, Jennifer A.
(Bickel) Kibler & Chris of Falun and Anna M. Bickel and fiancé,
Chase Carlson of Duluth, Minnesota. Mrs. Bickel is also survived by
her sister, Sarah Agnes (Everhart) Kackley. She is preceded in
death by her husband, Milton Bickel, her parents, Joseph and Maude
Everhart and siblings: Frank, Harry, Theadore, John, Mary, Daniel,
Curtis, Mildred, James, and Wayne.
Tena was a farmer and homemaker for most of her life, a good
mother and memorable grandmother. In life, Tena belonged to the
RSVP Volunteer Connection for over six years and was a member with
the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Affairs.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. on Thursday,
September 29, 2011 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home. The
funeral service will be at 11a.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at the
funeral home. Interment will follow at the Gypsum Valley
Cemetery #2 in Gypsum, Kansas. Following interment there will be a
meal at the Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Gypsum, for those that
would like to reminisce about Tena's life.

Pratt, Kansas.
