William A Weaver
On Saturday, November 27th, William A. Weaver went to meet his maker.
William was born in Junction City, Kansas on February 17, 1934, the son of the late Ardon and Hazel (Graham) Weaver.
He attended Emmanuel Four Square Church in Salina, Kansas
Bill work at the Junction City Daily Union for 13 years, retired from the Salina Journal after 20 years and the Salina Municipal Golf Course for 7 years, where he had 4 hole in 1s. He also had 30 years of sobriety which he was very proud of.
On Aug. 25, 1952, Bill married Beatrice Cook in Junction City, Kansas and she precedes him in death. He is also preceded in death by his daughter: Peggy Ann Wood.
Survivors include daughter: Dee Wills of Salina; son: Bill Weaver Jr. of Salina, KS; brother: James Weaver of Duluth, Minnesota 7 grandchildrenchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at Pinnacle Park Nursing Home, Salina, KS, at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 30th, with Pastor Loren Houltberg officiating.
Private family inurnment will be held at Highland Cemetery Junction City, Kansas.
