Lester L. Mockerman

Lester LeRoy Mockerman, 89, of Holyrood, Kansas, passed away on April 9, 2024. He was born on October 16, 1934, in Tescott, Kansas. Lester served in the United States Army in Germany from 1957 - 1959. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Saline County.
He attended most of his school years at Brookville, where he played on the 1952 winning basketball team. Lester married Pauline McDowell on March 12, 1961. They are the parents of Scott and Tammy.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline, his children, Scott Mockerman (B.J.) and Tammy Mockerman, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Linford Mockerman; and sister, Rose Myers.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 11th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 12th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Brookville City Cemetery, Brookville, Kansas
