Andrew Jay Davenport, 51, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Saturday, August 20th, 2016. Andrew was born in Salina, Kansas on August 31, 1964, a son of the late Barbara L. (Werth) Simpson and Paul J. Davenport. He participated in the Special Olympics in bowling. Andrew was a loving soul, who touched the lives of many people. Survivors include sisters, Shelly Gabel, of Salina, Kansas, Janelle Hokett, of McPherson, Kansas; and brother, Mark Davenport, of McPherson, Kansas; Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Douglas, Daniel and Michael Davenport; sister, Karen Sebree Pearce, and niece Michelle Sebree. At the family's request there will be no visitation. Services are private at the convenience of family. Memorial contributions may be made to Sunflower Adult Day Services, or Special Olympics in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas 67401.
