Anna Catherine Vishnefske Anna Catherine Vishnefske, 88, of Minneapolis, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, November 19th, at Good Samaritan Society. Anna was born in Salina, Kansas on August 30, 1925, daughter of the late Rose A. (Siler) and Leo L. Wachtel. Survivors include three sons, Mark Vishnefske, of Topeka, Kansas; John Vishnefske and wife Shelly, of Salina, Kansas; Leo Vishnefske and wife Shelly, of Fulton, Missouri; her grandchildren; Megan, Chelsea, Ryan, and Elise Vishnefske; and great grandchildren, Libby and Ethan Vishnefske. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Gerald D. Vishnefske; two brothers; and grandson, Tyler Vishnefske. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2013 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Salina, Kansas, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23rd, with Fr. Barry Brinkman officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Home, 815 N. Rothsay Ave, Minneapolis, Kansas.
