Arthur Duane Lee, 84, of Salina, passed away peacefully in the early hours of May 23, 2025, at his home. Born in Treese, Kansas, to Robert E. Lee and Bessie (Miller) Lee, Arthur built a life centered around family, dedication, and community.


On June 13th, in Plainville, Kansas, Arthur married Karen Bradford, his devoted partner of nearly 66 years. He spent many years working for Betts Baking Co. and United Parcel Service, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Beyond his career, he was actively engaged with the Jaycees and Salina Coin Club, always eager to contribute and connect.


Arthur found joy in golfing, fishing, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, sharing laughter and companionship with loved ones through these passions. He cherished time spent with family, celebrating milestones and creating lasting memories.


He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George, Buddy, Harley, Robert, and Alan; and sisters, Audrey, Cheryl, and Ethel.


He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; his children, Bradford (Jennifer), Shane (Andrea), and Marla; and his treasured grandchildren, James (Grayce), Elijah (Tiffany), Krista, Jeannine, Olivia, and Sara. His legacy extends to great-grandchildren Simon, James, Jonathan, and Julian, as well as his great-great-grandson, Luka.


Arthur is also survived by his brothers, Donnie, Larry, Lonnie, Jerry, and Gary; sisters, Juanita and Carol; and a host of dear family members and friends who will miss him deeply.


A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tammy Walker Cancer Center or Interim Hospice of Salina, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, KS 67401.


Arthur’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate nurses who provided care and comfort in his final days.
