Barbara Faye Morse, 60, of Salina passed away Monday, November 11th, at Salina Regional Health Center, Kansas. Barbara was born in Junction City, Kansas on April 13, 1953, to the late Lesta (Schmutz) and Vernon Sutter. She attended Fort Hays State University and was the office manager for Morse Plumbing, which she and her husband Ed owned and operated. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the New Community Christian Church, both of Salina. On September 16, 1972, Barbara married Ed Morse at the Salina First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband, three daughters; Danise (Marcus) B. Hoffman, of Salina; Abby J. Wells and her fiance Mike Ray, of Austin, Texas, and Allie (Jeremiah) J. Hayes of Salina; and her four grandchildren; Mylee, Payton, Luke and Aire. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as brothers, Stanley Sutter, David Sutter, and Greg Sutter. Family will be receiving friends, Friday, November 15, from 7pm-8pm to the Salina First Church of the Nazarene. A funeral service will be held at First Church of the Nazarene in Salina, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16th, with Rev. Jon M. Fillipi officiating with interment to follow at Crown Point Cemetery in Culver, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to Barbara Morse Grandchildren Account.
