Bernard Thielen

Salina, KS Bernard Thielen Bernard 'Bernie' C. Thielen, 92, of Salina, passed away January 6, 2013 at Kansas City Hospice House. He was born on February 2, 1920. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Budke Thielen. Bernie is survived by daughters, Janis Jeffers (Art) Falls Church, VA, Cheryl Lady, Fairway, KS, and Eileen Rathburn (Ed) of Raymore, Missouri, and five grandchildren, Kelsey, Brandt, Kristen, Brian and Evan. VIsitation will be at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 1:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. with a Rosary service following. Funeral services will be Thursday January 10, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St Mary's Catholic Church, with Father Kerry Ninemire officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvalry Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Mary's Catholic Church, 230 East Cloud Street, Salina, Kansas 67401.
