Bernita L. Dumis

Bernita L. Dumis passed away December 31, 2010 at Smoky Hill Rehab Center in Salina. She was born June 30, 1930 in Salina to Bernard and LaRee (Rolph) Kirby. Raised in Cloud County, she was the oldest grand daughter of Carl and Bessie Rolph. Bernita married Reeder Dumis and lived in Arkansas. After her husban's death she moved back to Delphos, Kansas to be near her mother. The past thirty years, Bernita has lived in supervised adult care homes in the Salina area. Her son, Dennis, was living in Arkansas when last heard from several years ago. Rosemary Smith, her daughter also survives her and lives in Salina. She is also survived by serveral cousins. A graveside service will be held at the Hall Cemetery, North of Minneapolis, at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Pastor Roy Rawls will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in Bernita's name to the Hall Wesleyan Church, 1937 North 160th Road Delphos, Kansas 67436.
