Bessie Daphene Lee

Daphene Lee, 82, of Salina, Kansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 She was born in Comanche, Oklahoma on August 20, 1937, a daughter of the late Marie (Eubanks) and Berlin Buzbee. Survivors include her husband, Charles "Bud" Lee of the home; daughters, Vickie Dunafon (Doug) of Westmoreland, Kansas, and Valarie Strobel (Jim) of Hays, Kansas; and her four siblings, Colene Goodman, Bill Buzbee, Emmelene Roland, and Larry Don Buzbee. Daphene is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Owen and Justin Dunafon; and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Lee; and grandson, Jacob Corwin. There will be no visitation as cremation has been chosen. The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, February 29th at 11:00 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 255 S. 7th Street, Salina, with Pastor Kent Happel officiating. Memorials may be made to Friends of the Salina Animal Shelter, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio Street, Salina.
