Betty Helen Butler

Betty Helen Butler, 97, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, June 26th, 2019. Betty was born in Solomon, Kansas on March 11, 1922, a daughter of the late Harvey Auburn Wood and Amanda Experience Wood. On July 3, 1946, Betty married George S. Butler in Saratoga Springs, Maryland. Survivors include daughter, Bonnie Mattson (Richard), of Camano Island, Washington; son, Bill Butler (Barbara), of Seattle, Washington; granddaughter, Amanda Mattson, of Seattle, Washington; brother, Harvey Wood (Pat), of Solomon, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Butler; brothers, Clyde "Buster" Wood, Raymond Wood, Charles Wood, James Wood; and sisters, Dorothy Hull, Elsie Napier, Ruth Bernard. At the family's request there will be no visitation. Graveside service will be at 11:00 am, Monday, July 1st, at Prairie Mound Cemetery, Solomon, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, family request donations to Hospice of Salina, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas 67401.
