Brock Darrel Nichols

Brock Darrel Nichols, 35, of Assaria, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 7th, 2015. Brock was born in Medicine Lodge, Kansas on February 21, 1979, a son of Dana (McNamar) Jacobs and Mike Nichols and wife Diana. He worked as a custom boot and saddle maker on the family farm. Brock attended Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology at Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Survivors include son, Landon Ryan Nichols, of Minneapolis, Kansas; Brother, Bart Nichols and wife, Crystal, of Canyon, Texas; Grandparents, Carl and Lois Nichols of Salina and Darrel and Winona McNamar of Medicine Lodge, Kansas; Nieces, Madilynn, Cole and Teal Nichols of Canyon, Texas; Uncles; Jerry McNamar and wife, Patricia of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, Joe Nichols and wife, Dianne of Canyon, Texas, and Scott Nichols and wife, Diana of Assaria, Kansas. Funeral Service will be held at Mentor United Methodist Church, Mentor, Kansas, at 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 10th, with Pastor Linda Kusse-Wolf and Pastor Bill Newman officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, January 9th, from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Kansas High School Rodeo Association, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas 67401.
