Carl Lois Benfer Carl Lois Benfer, 85, of Gypsum, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 9th, at his residence. Carl was born on September 2, 1928, son of the late Jenny Ward and Charles Benfer. Survivors include wife, Alice (Anderson) Benfer of the home; two sons, Jimmie Benfer and Richard Benfer, both of Gypsum, Kansas; He is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Services will be announced at a later date.
