Carl Robert Burns Carl Robert Burns, 62, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 20th, at his residence. Carl was born in Imperial, Nebraska on October 22, 1951, son of the late Eva (Dixon) and John Burns. He owned Burns Trucking. On April 6, 1980, Carl married Sonja Miller in Las Vegas. Survivors include his wife, Sonja of the home; 2 daughters, Cathie and Kellie; several grandchildren; Sisters, Betty Burk-Cunningham of Florida, Violet Barker of Florida, Charlene Hinkson of Nevada. He is preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Kim; brother, Jimmy Burns. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 8:30 am - service time at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 24th at the funeral home with Rev. John Schnelle officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
