Carol Jean Fanshier

Carol Jean Fanshier, 81, of Salina, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 8, 1937, a daughter of the late Clara M. (Wagner) and Arthur Belkin Richardson. Carol was a long time member of Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile Union where she was elected Queen four times. Survivors include her husband, David Fanshier; daughters, Christina Lamoureaux of Hoisington; April Eisenhauer (Larry) of Wichita, Teresa McCullough of Fayettville, Arkansas; Carrie Garrelts of Wichita; her son, Douglas Lamoureaux of Wichita; and sister, Patricia Wood (Harvey) of Solomon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Shelly Lamoureaux; sisters, Mae Pyles and June Richardson; and brother, William Richardson. Memorial Service will be Friday, September 27th at 10:30 am at the Solomon Yokes Parish, 109 N. Poplar Street, Solomon, Kansas. Memorials may be made to the church, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio Street, Salina, Kansas.
