Carol Kay Eaton

Carol Kay Eaton, 74, of Salina, passed away Saturday, January 31, while in the company of family members, at Kenwood View Rehab & Health Care. Carol was born in Vermillion, SD on February 13, 1940, a daughter of the late Genevieve (Haley) and James Walsh. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, volunteering, camping, sewing, and most of all quilting. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Salina. Survivors include three daughters, Karla Bartz, of Salina; Theresa Medina, of Larned; Angela, wife of Gregg Lyon, of Salina; four sons Rodney, husband of Cindy Bartz, of Wichita; Randy Bartz, of Salina; Arlan, husband of Terri Bartz, of Vero Beach, Florida; Jeff, husband of Julie Bartz, of Olathe; a step son, Richard Eaton, of Great Bend. She is also survived by Daughter-in-law, Sandi Bartz of Larned, KS; Grandchildren, Darcy, Ashley, Shayla, Teran, Stephen Lyon, AJ Medina, Brian Medina, Payten, Scott Lyon, Jayme, Jeromy Bartz, Jordan Bartz, Brandon Bartz, Trevor Bartz; great grandchildren, Landen, Parker, Bradyn, Hunter, Eli, Leyum, Brylee. She was proceeded by; Husband and father of children, Melvin Bartz; husband and travel companion, Dale Eaton; Sons, Michael and Joey Bartz; daughter-in-law, Jolyn Bartz, son-in-law, John Medina; grandson, Dustin Bartz; and brother, Merrill Walsh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Salina, at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 4th. Visitation will be Tuesday February 3, 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM with the family receiving friends 5:00 - 7:00 PM. A Rosary will be held Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be held at St. Rose's Cemetery in Crofton, Nebraska at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 5, 2015
