Charlene "Suzie" Gay

Salina, KS Charlene 'Suzie' Gay Charlene 'Suzie' Gay, 85, of Salina, passed away Friday, June 3rd, at Smoky Hill Rehabilitation Center. Suzie was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 5, 1931, to the late Rosa (Whitten) and Russell F. Wyatt. Suzie was a devoted wife and mother to her family. She also worked part-time at the family business, King Chemical Company, Inc. Suzie was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Salina. Suzie was the widow of Delbert G. Gay. Survivors include her daughters, Carol Salsman, Debi Gay; Denise Sivek, and her husband Paul, and Rene Ericsson, and her husband Steve; son, Randel Gay; and her sister, Loretta January; as well as 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, Delbert; daughter, Michelle Gay; and brother, Russell Wyatt. Cremation has been chosen and there will not be visitation. A graveside memorial service at will be held at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 10th, with Rev. Greg Savage officiating.
