Charles Laurence Rindt

Charles Laurence Rindt, 85, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 8th, 2023.
Charles was born in White City, Kansas on August 7, 1937, a son of Nora Emilie (Heideman) and Oscar Robert Rindt.
On March 11, 1956, Charles married Eleanor Lay in Wilsey, Kansas.
He retired from the Salina Police Department after 22 years, worked for Salina Concrete, and Durham School Services.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina, Kansas.
Survivors include his two daughters, Beverly Rindt, of Salina, Janet Dowson (Eric), of Great Bend; three sons, Robert Rindt (Carla), of Salina, Larry Rindt (Becky), of Salina, Brian Rindt (Debbie), of Auburn, Kansas; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
He is also survived by his brother, Gerald Rindt, of Herington, Kansas and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Eleanor Rindt.
Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 12th at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home in Salina. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 13th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Salina, Kansas with Pastor Dennis Kootz officiating. Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, Kansas.
Donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or to the donor's choice, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.
