Charlie Maurath

Charlene "Charlie" Elizabeth Maurath Charlene "Charlie" Elizabeth Maurath, 67, of Salina, KS, passed away Tuesday, September 28th, 2021. Charlie was born in Salina, Kansas on September 27, 1954, a daughter of the late Clara Dorothy (Karlin) and Melvin Filbert Bellerive. She worked at Key Rexall Pharmacy for 48 years. Survivors include her husband, Ed Maurath; three sisters, Iris Swisher-Strachan (Dick), of Pismo Beach, California, Sharon Knight (Dave), of Topeka, Janelle Robertson (Sean), of Salina; two brothers, Mike Bellerive (Stephanie), of Salina, and Brian Bellerive (Teresa), of Salina; brother-in-law, Gary Garcia, of Derby, Kansas. She is also survived by many special friends and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister, Denise Garcia. Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of the Salina Animal Shelter, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas 67401.
