Christie Breault

Christie Michelle Breault Christie Michelle Breault, 45, of Benton, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 17th, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. Christie was born in Salina, Kansas on July 12, 1967, daughter of Bonnie (Robb) and Larry Merriman. Christie was an author of children's books, an elementary school teacher, and a longtime substitue teacher. She was a member of the Kansas Authors Club, authored two books and was involved with her writing group 'writer gals'. On August 20, 1988, Christie married Bradley L. Breault in Salina, Kansas. Survivors include her parents; her husband; two sons, Logan Breault, of Benton, Kansas, Joshua Merriman, of El Dorado, Kansas; sisters, Deborah L. Shelton and husband Jack of Hugoton, Kansas, Jennifer Enochs of Olathe, Kansas, Laurie Schmidt of Portland, Oregon; grandsons, Gunner and Brogan. At the family's request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at First Southern Baptist Church, Salina, Kansas, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013. Inurnment will take place at Smoky Hill Cemetery, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013.
