Cleta Jean Schneider

Cleta Jean Schneider, 81, of New Cambria, passed away Saturday, August 25th. She was a daughter of the late John and Leona (Swenson) Mowbray. Survivors include her husband, Vernon; daughters, Karla J. Alley (Richard Giersch), and Kendra L. Goldsmith both of Salina; sons, Keith L. Johnson of Culver, and Kevin D. Johnson (Jane) of New Cambria; brothers, Virgil Mowbray (Jane) of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Floyd Mowbray (Dixie) of South Haven; sister, Erma Mowbray of McPherson; and sister-in-law, Dela Mowbray of Bellingham, Washington. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, Amy, Dawn, Miranda, Brandon, Dixie, Paige, and Patrick; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother, Cleo Mowbray. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 29th at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 255 S. 7th Street, Salina. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 29th at the church. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in New Cambria. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Salina or Immanuel Lutheran Church, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio Street, Salina.
