Dale Richard Johnson

Dale Richard Johnson, 58, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Saturday, December 1st, 2018. Dale was born in Salina, Kansas on December 21, 1959, a son of the late Shirley J. (Carpenter) and Donald L. Johnson. On December 15, 1984, Dale married Linda Ryan. He managed BRC for over 30 years where he excelled at his job and built the business through Honesty, Efficiency, and Customer Service. He was a great businessman and took pride in getting his customers what they needed. He also took pride in maintaining his lawn, cars and home. Dale enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish with his family and close friends. He could always be found on his deck. Dale loved going to Hawaii and desired to move there one day. All of Dale's dogs gathered at his feet day and night. Specifically Buddy who never left his side until the end. Survivors include his wife, Linda (Ryan) Johnson, of the home; two daughters, Lindsey Sotomayor, and husband Jonathan, of Salina, Tiffany Johnson, of Salina; brothers, Wayne Johnson, of Salina, Dennis Johnson, and wife Candy, of Salina; and sister, Debbie Shirack, of Salina. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Elliana, Daniel, Gabriel and multiple nieces and nephews. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 15th, at Emmanuel Foursquare Church, with Pastor Loren Houltberg officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to help take Dale to his final resting place in Hawaii.
