Darrell W. Lang, 71, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, March 5th, 2021. Darrell was born in Wichita, Kansas at the Salvation Army Hospital on January 31, 1950. He was retired, Darrell's favorite thing was holiday gatherings, and he loved to volunteer at Lakewood Discovery Center, delivering meals on wheels, the river festival, was a dedicated bell ringer for the Salvation Army, was active with Choices Network, played Bingo weekly, bowled on a senior league, and faithfully attended the Landmark Apostolic Church, Emmanuel Foursquare Church, and the Salvation Army Church. Survivors include his chosen family, Kristi, Jim, Taylor, Kora, Kaci and Rosie Copas; Bob and Joyce Gile; Jim and JoAnn Gile; Jody and Steve; Jaime and Jason; Chiara, Cai, and Cooper; Donna and Andy Tope; special friends, Don and Mary Carrier; Jeremy Pummel; Carolyn McCready and many church family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 10th at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas 67401.
