David Lloyd Gooden

David Lloyd Gooden, 55, of Salina, passed away Sunday, February 4th, 2018. David was born in Salina, Kansas on February 10, 1962, son of the late Madonna "Donna" Lucille (Damker) and Robert "Bob" Lloyd Gooden. Dave was a baseball coach for many years. He took pride in the kids he coached and loved what he did. He also played guitar in the band Ingot and enjoyed mechanical tinkering on toys and vehicles. Survivors include sons, Seth Gooden and wife Lisa, of Gypsum and their daughter Raegan, Shane Gooden, of Denver, Colorado; and brother, Dan Gooden and wife Judy, of Wamego, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald E. Gooden. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 10, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas, with Rev. Nancy Cook officiating.
