Debra Lynn Johnstone

Debra Lynn Johnstone, 67, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, March 31st, 2022. Debra was born in Clay Center, Kansas on January 20, 1955, a daughter of James Forrest Brown and the late “Jo Ann” (Pfizenmaier) Brown. She was a graduate of Clay Center High School class of 1973. After high school she served in the United States Navy from 1973-1977 and then enrolled and graduated with an associate’s degree in early childhood development from San Diego State University. She is survived by three sons; Robert Johnstone, Brian Johnstone, Chris Johnstone; father, James Brown; grandchildren, Chuck, Laura, Sarah, Sabrina, Rebekah and 6 great grandchildren. Debra is also survived by two sisters, Linda Riggle, Marla Pence and brother, Scott Brown. Preceding her in death is her mother “Jo Ann” Brown. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 13, at Republican City Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas.
