Dixie Hladky

Herington, Kansas Dixie Hladky Dixie Hladky, 76, of Herington, Kansas, passed away Friday, December 20th, at the Nicol Home, in Glasco, Kansas. Dixie was born in Miltonvale, Kansas on July 31, 1937, to the late Twila G (Frybarger) and Roy A Chayer. Dixie was a certified nurse's aid and worked in nursing and home health for many years. She was the wife of James Hladky. Survivors include her husband James, of Herington; daughter, Janice Wheeler, of Beverly, Kansas; sons, James (Patricia) Murk, of Aurora, Kansas; and Ronald (Valerie) Murk, of Delphos, Kansas; grandchildren: Bryan, Chris, and Jeremy Yohe, Nichole Pendleton, Eric and Dustin Murk, April Coetzee, Ryan Murk-Hoobler, and Mikayla, Melea, and D.J. Hladky; as well as 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons, Roger Murk and Daniel Hladky; and her sister, Betty Lilliman Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
