Dolorine "Dolly" Marie Riedel

Dolorine Marie Riedel, 90, of Salina, passed away Sunday, June 17th, at Dignity Care Home. Dolorine was born in St. Peter, Kansas on June 9, 1928, a daughter of the late Mary Anna (Schuvie) and Peter Sauer. Survivors include daughters, Pearl Flax and husband Lawrence, Vickie Riedel, both of Salina; son, Lennie Riedel, of Colby, Kansas; brothers, Laverne Sauer, and wife Leona, of Wichita, Kansas, Eugene Sauer and wife Silvia, of St. Peter, Kansas; sister, Ann Williams and husband Joe, of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, Ben Riedel, 8 brothers, and 4 sisters. No visitation will take place as cremation has been chosen. A Rosary service will be held at 9:30 am, Saturday, June 30th, with memorial services at 10:00 am, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Salina, with Fr. Kevin Weber officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Salina. Memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas 67401.
