Donald "Don" Newingham

Donald 'Don' Newingham, 73, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, April 3rd, at the Kaye Pogue Hospice Center. Don was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 29, 1939, to the late Sylvia Gladys (Beal) and Jackson Wescott Newingham. He worked as a salesman for Salina Auto Parts, after retiring from 23 years at Sears. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Brummer) Newingham, who survives him. Don is also survived by his daughter, Michele (Bill) Dunham, of Saint Charles, Missouri; sons Larry, (Joan) Newingham, of Salina, and Jack Newingham, of Newton, Kansas; as well as 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 6th, with Pastor Kent Happel officiating. Friends are invited to call, at the funeral home, Friday from 8 am to the time of the services, with the family greeting visitors from 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
