Donald 'Donnie' Eugene Larson Donald Eugene Larson, 62, of Solomon, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 6th, at Salina Regional Health Center. Donald was born in Concordia, Kansas on November 15, 1951, a son of the late Maxine (Laflin) and Albert Larson. On March 27, 1976, Donnie married Twila J. (Keenan) in Abilene, Kansas. Donnie owned and operated D&E Concrete Service for 14 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys and camping with his family and friends. He recently accepted Jesus Christ as his savior. Survivors include his loving wife, Twila Larson; four daughters, Kimberly Linaweaver and husband Ronald, of Salina, Kansas, Donna Smith and husband Mark, of Belle Plain, Kansas, Jennifer Larson, of Solomon, Kansas, Stacy Larson and fiance John Hoover, of Salina, Kansas; two sons, Gary Larson and wife Joyce, of Salina, Kansas, Erick Larson and fiance Michelle Keener, of Salina, Kansas, sisters, Janice Travis, of Topeka, Kansas, Joyce Rhodenbaugh, of Topeka, Kansas, Darlene Coelho, of Topeka, Kansas; brother, Gary D. Larson, of Salina, Kansas. He is also survived by as well as 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Laflin, Kenneth Larson; sisters, Phyllis Geisler, and Janet Lewis; as well as grandson Tyler Smith. The family will greet friends during visitation from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, April 11, 2014 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas. Burial will follow at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Solomon, Kansas.
