Edelia Ortiz, 55, of Salina, passed away Thursday, June 25th, at Salina Regional Health Center, Kansas. Edelia was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, on October 2, 1959, a daughter of the late Maria (Lopez) and Juan Lamas. Survivors include her husband, Jorge Ortiz; son, Daniel Ortiz; and daughter Erika Lamas. Due to the family's request there will not be a visitation. Funeral Services will be held in the town of Calvillo in Aguascalientes, Mexico at a later date.
