Edna Faye Kerby, 72, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Saturday, November 2nd, at Hospice of Salina, Kansas. Edna was born in Salina, Kansas, on May 19, 1941, a daughter of the late Marie (Cossel) Beiganek and Orin Hart. Survivors include sons, Albert Plunkett, of Kansas City, Kansas; Alvin Plunkett, of Tescott, Kansas; Alan Plunkett, of Carlton, Kansas, Michael Plunkett, of Lindsborg, Kansas; sister, Margaret; 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kerby; sister, Phyllis and brother, Johnny. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Church of Christ, 1646 N. 9th, Salina, Kansas, with Minister Wayne DeWindt, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Salina, 730 Holly Lane, Salina, Kansas or Church of Christ, 1646 N. 9th, Salina, Kansas.
