Edna Waunaita Haist

Edna Waunaita Haist, 78, of Salina, passed away Thursday, August 29th, 2019. Edna Waunaita McClenahan was born on December 29, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska to Harold and Myrtle McClenahan. She married Donald William Haist on March 12, 1962. Together, they were blessed with three daughters. Edna lived a life full of love for God first, family second, and everything else after that. She was a dedicated teacher and poured her all into everything she did. Edna is survived by brother, Lou McClenahan; daughters, Dawn Haist, Ruth Holgerson (Victor), and Carol Keller; grandchildren, Victoria Holgerson, Douglas Holgerson (Bre), Mercedez Schulze (Tyler), Anne Keller, Sean Keller, and great grandchildren, Eliott and Ember Schulze. Edna joins her husband Don and many other loved ones in heaven to praise Christ for eternity. Memorial Service will be at 10:30, Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Salina First Church of the Nazarene, Salina, Kansas, with Dr. Jon M. Fillipi officiating. Inurnment will be at Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, Kansas. Donations may be made in Edna's name to the church.
