Edward Peters Dresser, 77, of Delphos, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 3rd, at his home. Edward was born in Taunton, Massachusetts on June 30, 1935, a son of the late Norma (Bassett) Smith and Richard Dresser. He was a retired member of the U.S. Air Force and Army National Guard. He worked as a maintanence man at the Eisenhower Center in Abilene. Edward was also a member of Peace Lutheran Church in New Cambria. On May 21, 1961, Edward married Sandra Kay Belden in New Cambria. Survivors include, his wife of fifty-two years, Sandra Dresser of the home; daughter Traci (Dennis) Pfieff of Salina; sons Troy (Linda) Dresser, of Knoxville, Tennessee; Edward (Tamera) Dresser, of Argonia, Kansas; brother, Richard (Irene) Dresser of Taunton, Massachusetts; sister, Marilyn Dresser of Taunton, Massachusetts; as well as ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothe,r Norman Dresse;, and great granddaughter, Lilliana Witt. Funeral Services will be held at the at Peace Lutheran Church, New Cambria, Kansas, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8th, with Pastor Amy Truhe officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in New Cambria. Visitation will be at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Tuesday from 9 am to 8 pm. The family will greet friends from 6pm-8pm.
