E.J. Outland, 78, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, April 28th, 2023.
E.J. was born in Flora, Mississippi on December 3, 1944, a son of Viola (West) and Ben P. Outland.
Survivors include his daughter, Cathy Greene (Alto), of West Point, Virginia; sons,Lamont Outland, and E.J. Outland Jr., both of Salina, Kansas; 8 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
E.J. is also survived by two sisters, Ida Burse, Mary Evelyn Smith, both of Salina, Kansas; and brother, Archie (Vickie) Moore, of Flint, Michigan
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Tyrone Hopkins; 4 sisters; and 4 brothers.
Cremation was chosen.
A Gathering will take place at 11:00 am, Monday, June 12 at Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
