Elaine Marie Rego

Elaine Marie Rego, 73, of Assaria, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 5th, 2026.

Elaine was born in Salina, Kansas on June 8, 1952, a daughter of Lois Mae (Johnson) and Byron Elliott.

Throughout her life, she worked in a variety of roles, including many years on the assembly line at Exide Technologies and Tony’s Pizza, as well as in the kitchen at Country Inn & Suites. She also gave her time and support as a devoted member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest Rego; son, Eddie Rego (Paige), of Sabetha, Kansas; and grandchildren, Cadn Miller, Ethan Miller, Kaydence Rego, Briley Rego, Brooklyn Miller, Aiden Rego, Jaystn Rego, Jaiden Miller, Lillian Miller, Liam Rego, Ezmai Rego, Eden Rego, Kaylona Rego, and Draven Rego.

Elaine is also survived by her brother, Galen Elliot (Bonnie), of Salina, Kansas and nephews, Jason Elliott, Brian Elliott, and Warren Elliott (Robin).

She is preceded by her parents and son, Eric Rego.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 16, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 17, at Assaria Lutheran Church in Assaria, Kansas.

Burial will follow at Assaria Lutheran Cemetery.

The family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
