Salina, Kansas Elma Lucille Postlethwaite Elma Lucille Postlethwaite, 96, of Salina, passed away Thursday, July 9th, at her residence. Elma was born in Minneapolis, Kansas on June 14, 1919, to the late Bertha (Ayres) and Floyd Montague. She worked as a homemaker and a day care provider, She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church in Salina. Elma married Neal Postlethwaite on July 25, 1938. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1999. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Rucker, of Salina; daughter-in-law, Roberta Postlethwaite of Salina; two brothers, Frank Montague of Wichita and Larry montague of Knobnoster; two sisters, Ester Harner, and Albertha Adam both of Salina; granddaughters, Robin, Lynda, Amy, Tambra, Dawn, Jayme, and Cheri; ten great-grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Neal; sons, Robert, Floyd, and Ivan; brothers, Elmer, Victor, Virgil, and Billy Montague; sisters, Josephine Werenke and Verla Smith; daughters in law; Beverly and RoxAnne Postlethwaite; and grandson, Scott Rucker. Funeral Services will be held at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home in Salina, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13th, with Pastor David Morris officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to the time of service. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Minneapolis. The family request that memorials be made to Cornerstone Community Church, 1045 E. Ash, Salina, Kansas 67401.
