Salina, Kansas Emma Mae Hall Emma Mae Hall, 95, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, December 10th, at Salina Presbyterian Manor. Emma was born in Fargo, Oklahoma on January 11, 1919, to the late Ada (Hoag) and Thaddeus Carpenter. Her last employment was for 20 years at Leisure Years, and she worked for 5 years at Sam's Club. Emma was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Salina. In 1938 Emma married Andrew E. 'Elithan' Hall, who passed away in 1994. Survivors include her daughter, Anna Marie Scholen, of Indianapolis, Indiana; sons, Arthur 'A.L.' Hall and his wife JoAnne, of Garland, Texas, Kenneth Hall and his wife Judy, of Gypsum, Kansas, and Vernon 'Steve' Hall and his wife Suzanne, of Wylie Texas; as well as 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. Emma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother; a grandson; and a great grandson. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 12 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home. Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be at First Southern Baptist Church, 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13th, with Pastor Glenn Davis and Pastor Dennis Mullins officiating. Interment will follow at Gypsum Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Southern Baptist Church, 2401 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas 67401.
