Evelyn Freta Gilmer Evelyn Freta Gilmer, 88, of Salina, passed away Thursday, May 29th, at Sterling House . Evelyn was born in Commanche, Oklahoma on June 20, 1925, a daughter of the late Meta Fay (Smith) and Thomas Massey. Survivors include her son, Gregg Gilmer, and wife Linda, of Salina; grandchildren, Mark Davis, and Ryan Burke; as well as great grandchildren, Cooper Davis, Colt Davis, Cody Burke, and Hannah Burke. She is preceded in death by her sister, Tommy Husler. Cremation has been selected and no services are planned at this time.
