Salina, Kansas Florence Ethel May Eisenhauer Florence Ethel May Eisenhauer, 96, of Salina, passed away Sunday, December 9 at the Kaye Pogue Hospice Center. Florence was born May 29, 1916 in Salina to the late Nellie (Morrison) and William Cumbow. She was a high school graduate and worked for KP&L and Montgomery Ward. On April 21, 1941, she married Harold Eisenhauer. Florence belonged to and was a past president of the Credit Women of America, belonged to the VFW Auxillary, volunteered at the Smoky Hill Museum, the American Red Cross and numerous other organizations. Florence is survived by her cousin, Kenneth Bourbina, of Abilene, Kansas; nieces, Barbara Anderson, of Salina, Rosemary West, of Salina, Margaret Tedder, of Huntsville, Alabama, Mary Weigel, of Hutchinson, Kansas, Jennie Uhler, of Topeka, Kansas; sister in law, Pauline Breneman, of Minneapolis; nephews, Jerry Earnest, of Houston, Texas, and Bill Hart, of Salina, Fred Dixon, of Solomon, Kansas; as well as special friends, Sheryl and Steve Williams and family, of Newton, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold; and sisters, Marie Hart, Ruby Earnest, Ruth Cumbow, Berniece Cumbow, Virginia Iliff, and an infant sister. Cremation has been selected and there will not be visitation. Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Amy Bowers officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Florence's name to Hospice of Salina, 730 Holly Ln., Salina, Kansas 67401 or the Salina Presbyterian Manor, 2601 E. Crawford, Salina, Kansas 67401.
