Frieda L. Farrar

Salina, KS Frieda L Farrar Frieda L Farrar, 93, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, August 19th, at Windsor Estates Nursing Home. Frieda was born in Rural Hope, Kansas, on July 17, 1921, to the late Louise (Barre) and Henry Brockmeier. She worked as a Legal Secretary. She was also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was the widow of Henry Lloyd Farrar. Survivors include her son, Steve (Ellen) Farrar, of Dublin, Ohio; grandson, Andrew Farrar, Lindsborg, KS; granddaughters, Kristin Tope, of Dublin, Ohio and Sarai Martin, of Oklahoma City, OK; as well as 1 great grandchild, Mitchell Tope. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Henry Farrar; grandson, Jerry Farrar; brothers, Herbert Brockmeier and Milton Brockmeier; and sisters, Erma Mills and Luella Mayes. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25th, with Rev. Shawn Deterding officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends on Sunday, August 24th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.
